  I found out I had stage 3 colon cancer back on October 13th 2014. I had a colon resection done and met with Dr. Prieto shortly after. His demeanor was great and he was very professional as well as caring. He took time to answer all of my questions and any time I had a question or concern he took the time to speak with me. Dr. Prieto knows what he is doing and is a very caring Dr. He even made a house call one day because the roads were iced over.
  
  I had six chemo treatments and I have not had any new cancer to show up as of yet, and I pray it stays that way. I would recommend him to anyone who is going through cancer. He will make the experience as good as possible. Thanks Dr. Prieto!

  Dr. Prieto was responsible for the oversight of my mom's chemotherapy. I first thought he was well intended, but he can be shaming, argumentative, and down right rude. My mom had multiple complications and hospitalizations and every time he would say this issue is not related to chemotherapy call your PCP.... the next breath he would scold her and say why didn't you call me. Today he stopped by her hospital room and told her "She was like talking to a teenager". This comment was beyond rude, unacceptable, and uncalled for. I guess he finally figured out she was a smoker (read her H&P, Duh!) and told her she hid it well... and why did she smoke. Why berate a 70yr old woman about smoking, when you are overseeing her ovarian cancer and none of her complications are related to smoking? Anyway, I would highly recommend that you find another oncologist. If you have cancer you need to be surrounded with love and support not blame and shame.
